The Wilmès II minority government is now slightly more than one month in place. In order to fight the Covid-19-crisis as effectively as possible, the government received full executive powers from the Chamber of Representatives. Wilmès II has already faced many hurdles: doubts about the superkern, contested decisions about nursing homes, DIY and gardening shops and recently the leaking of the exit strategy memorandum. These stumbling blocks are the subject of this week's political update. The question at hand is whether the Wilmes II government could power through the virus.
